This petition is filed to condone the delay of 12 days in filing the above criminal appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) who takes notice for the 1st respondent.

3.Though notice served on the 2nd respondent and his name being printed in the cause list, there is no representation for him either in person or through counsel, when the matter is called. Hence, he is called absent.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 12 days in filing the appeal is condoned and the petition is ordered. 21.04.2023 msr Note: The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is, otherwise, in order.
