This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to grant separate patta in the name of the petitioner after subdividing the subject property based on the representation made by the petitioner on 10.01.2025. 2/4

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4 produced a status report given by the third respondent. On going through the status report, it is seen that survey has already been conducted in the subject property. What remains is, the subdivision sought for by the petitioner and request made by the petitioner for issuance of separate patta after subdivision.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to take a decision and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
