O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to the Maha Sakthi Mariyamman Koil Chithirai Thiruvizha festival from

07.04.2019 to 21.04.2019 and the representation made by the petitioners dated 20.03.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that there are Civil Suits pending in O.S.No.88 of 2018 on the file of the Learned District Munsif Court, Nannilam and in I.A.No.332 of 2018 between the petitioners and the counter parties. While so, with regard to the conduct of Maha Sakthi Mariyamman Koil Chithirai Thiruvizha festival proposed to be held from 07.04.2019 to 21.04.2019, the petitioners submitted a representation to the respondents on 20.03.2019.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation lodged by the petitioners on 20.03.2019 after giving opportunity to the petitioners herein and the counter parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
