ORDER

The petitioners seek bail in respect of Crime No. 195 of 2020 registered against them under Sections 209(b), 324, 506(ii), 307 of I.P.C and sections 25(1B) (a) and 27(1) of Indian Arms Act.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners have indulged in brewing illicit arrack and a clash broke out when they attempted to sell the illicit brew in the village. The petitioners are also accused of shooting, at the villages using country made guns.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is yet to be completed and the petitioners were remanded to judicial custody only on 06.04.2020.

4. Considering the fact that the investigation is still pending and the gravity of the offences, I do not think that the petitioners could be released on bail in the prevailing situation. Hence, this petition is dismissed for the present.
