The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.02.2020 for the offence under Sections 364A, 307, 506(ii) and 394 of IPC @ 364A, 307, 506(ii) and 394, 224 of IPC and Section 25(1) (a) of Arms Act in crime No.42 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. It is seen that this petition has been filed during the lock-down period and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner did not take any steps to list this matter before this Court for the past two years. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered after the period of two years.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
