Crl.O.P.No.7033 of 2024 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

It is stated that Non-Bailable Warrant is pending against the Petitioner herein. The Petitioner is the accused/A4 in P.R.C.No.7 of 2017 now pending before the Judicial Magistrate - I, Chidambaram.

2. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has held in the judgment in SLP(Crl.)No.7940 of 2023 in Srikant Upadhyay & Ors. vs. State of Bihar & Anr. case, that when Non-Bailable Warrant is pending, the petition seeking anticipatory bail would not lie.

3. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. It is open to the Petitioner to surrender before the Trial Court.
