ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider her representation dated 18/03/2016.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the respective respondent allotted a house in the name of her husband by name Parthasarathy. Thereafter, her husband deposited Rs.300/- The petitioner's family was living in the allotted house and the remaining amount was paid to the Estate Officer by Rs.6/- per month. Her husband died 20 years back and after that the petitioner is living with her daughter and son. Thereafter, the petitioner paid the entire balance amount vide Receipt No.159738 dated 21.08.2013. The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board had also given electricity connection for the house and they https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

also possess family card. In the circumstances, the petitioner has given a representation dated 18.03.2016 to execute a sale deed, but the same was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition is filed for the above stated relief.

3. Heard Mr.M.Murugesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.S.Sundaramoorthi, learned counsel, who took notice for the respondents.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner produces the legal heir certificate and other relevant documents by appearing before the respondents, the request of the petitioner would be considered.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Court directs the petitioner to produce all the relevant documents enclosing the legal heir certificate by appearing before the 2nd respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
