This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.08.2012 and to file a final report in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has given a complaint in the year 2012 and it is not available with the police.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint in writing before the third respondent police and on such receipt, the respondent police shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquire the same and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
