This writ miscellaneous petition is filed under Section 17 B of the Industrial Disputes Act,1947 by the petitioner against the respondent management on the ground that inspite of the orders dated 10.05.2023 passed in I.D.No.66 of 2019, the petitioner management therein has not reinstated the respondent workman therein with continuity in service and backwages and he has also not been employed gainfully. 2.

Heard both sides and perused the records and as seen from the affidavit of this petition, it is clear that the petitioner herein is not gainfully employed elsewhere .

In view of the above, the writ miscellaneous petition is allowed and the respondent management is directed to pay the last drawn pay to the petitioner workman from the date of filing of this writ petition under Section 17 B of the I.D.Act on or before 10th of every month. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

vca The respondent management is further, directed to pay the arreas of wages under Section 17 B of I.D.Act, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
