This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order dated 22.08.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.24201 of 2024.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that, this Court vide order dated 22.08.2024 issued a direction to respondents to implement the proceedings of the first respondent dated 29.12.2023. Pursuant thereto, the District Registrar vide proceedings dated 09.12.2025 has passed an order dated 09.12.2024 stating that the authority of the District Registrar to cancel the registered document under Section 77(A) of the Registration Act has been revoked as per the order passed by this Court and also granted liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy through the appropriate Court in the manner known to law.

3. Accordingly, there is no wilful disobedience on the part of the respondents/Contemnors. Hence, this Contempt Petition stands closed. 28.03.2025 rap NCC : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes/No M.DHANDAPANI, J.
