ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to remove the remarks, namely "temple land", made in Patta No. 314 in respect of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.
2. According to the petitioner, erroneously, in the patta bearing No. 314 of 2020 in the remarks column, the property has been mentioned as "temple land". According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.
3. According to the petitioner, the first and second respondents have also recommended to the third respondent for removal of the wrong entry, i.e., "temple land" in Patta No. 314. According to the petitioner, till date, the error has not been rectified by the third respondent in Patta No. 314.
4. The petitioner had given a representation dated 01.12.2025 to the respondents for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
5. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with
law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
7. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
8. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2025, seeking for removal of the entry "temple land" in Patta No. 314 for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing all the necessary parties, which includes the so named Temple, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
