Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 28.2.2014 by promoting them as Headmaster of Kattathur Panchayat Middle School, Andimadam Union, Ariyalur District and Edayar Panchayat Union Middle School, Ariyalur District, respectively. For Petitioners : Mr.R.Sankarasubbu For respondent : Mr.M.S.Ramesh, Additionasl Government pleader COMMON ORDER The petitioners are presently working as Middle School Graduate Teachers. They were appointed on 12.09.2005. According to the petitioners, one post of Headmaster is vacant in the Panchayat Union Middle School, Kattathur and in Edayar Panchayat Union Middle School, Ariyalur District. The petitioners are eligible for appointment to the post of Headmasters. The petitioners submitted a representation to the respondent on 28.2.2014. The present prayer is to direct the respondent to dispose of the said representation on merits.

2. The respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations, dated 28.2.2014, submitted by the petitioners, on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
