O R D E R

The petitioner in H.M.O.P.No.69 of 2013 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Thirupattur, who is the husband of the respondent, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition, to direct the trial Court to dispose of the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.69 of 2013, within a stipulated time.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed the H.M.O.P. for divorce on the ground of cruelty. The respondent has not so far filed her written statement in the petition. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is employed in

M.DURAISWAMY,J rg the Indian Army and is put to great hardship and prejudice, since the matter has not been disposed of by the trial Court, even after a lapse of two years.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Subordinate Judge, Thirupattur, to dispose of the original petition in H.M.O.P.No.69 of 2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
