Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal, which is numbered and pending as Na.Ka.A1/3692/2018 dated 12.07.2018 after summoning and verifying the old revenue records like Chitta, Adangal, ARegister, Sketch and other revenue records pertaining to Old Natham Survey No.120/1, New Natham Survey No.120/19 situated at Nathankaduvetty Village, Chennakunam Madhura, Kandachipuram Taluk, Villupuram District.

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 05.06.2018 after summoning and verifying the old revenue records pertaining to Old Natham Survey No.120/1, New Natham Suvey No.120/19 situated at Nathankaduvetty Village, Chennakunam Madhura, Kandachipuram Taluk, Villupuram Dt.

2. In view of the order is going to be passed in the present Writ Petition, which will not prejudice the interest of the respondents 2 to 4, notice to the respondents 2 to 4 are dispensed with.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is an order of granting patta in favour of respondents 2 to 4. Against which, the petitioner said to have filed an appeal before the 1st respondent on 05.06.2018 and thereafter, the enquiry was also conducted on 26.07.2018. Subsequently, so far, no order has been passed on it. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's appeal 05.06.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner as well as respondents 2 to 4 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
