By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he is one of the committee members which is organizing the festival of Ayyanar Koil at Sannayur South Street, Ariyalur Taluk and District. The temple festival is to be conducted on 10.06.2015. He submitted a representation on 30.05.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural and other programme on the date of temple festival to be held on 10.06.2015 and though it was received and acknowledged by the respondent, so far he has not been favoured with any response. Hence, he has come forward with this writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would, on instructions, submit that while conducting the temple festival, cultural and dance programme will be performed and there will not be any vulgarity or obscenity while conducting the said programme and the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner. 4.Mr.M.Dig Vijayapandian, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents, would submit that within a specified time the application/representation of the petitioner will be considered and disposed of.

5. Though the petitioner prayed for a positive direction, taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application/representation dated 30.05.2015 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on the same on or before 08.06.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
