The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondents to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to dispose the petitioner's complaint dated 30.09.2024 given under Maintenance and Welfare of parents and senior citizens act, 2007.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a 78-year-old senior citizen, filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of his complaint dated 30.09.2024 under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The petitioner has two daughters i.e., the third and the fourth respondents, residing in Chennai and Bangalore, respectively. He was living with the third respondent and assisting with household responsibilities, including helping with his grandchildren. Despite having spent his entire earnings from 1969 to 2012, including during his service abroad in Kuwait, for the education, marriage, and welfare of his daughters, the petitioner was forcibly evicted by the third Page No.2 of 6
respondent and her husband on 16.05.2024. Subsequently, he became homeless and financially destitute. Thereafter, he filed a formal complaint to the first respondent on 30.09.2024, which was duly acknowledged. On 22.11.2024, the second respondent issued a summons to all parties. However, no final action has been taken on his complaint, prompting this writ petition.

Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 30.09.2024 on merits, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 has no objection for the said order being passed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 30.09.2024, after giving due notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 3 & 4, affording an opportunity of personal hearing, considering the documents filed by both the parties on merits, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. This writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation and directions. No costs.
