By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claims that he is eking out his livelihood as a coolie and he belongs to Scheduled Caste Community and with the meagre income, is supporting his family and the property situated at Plot No.22, Ambedkar Nagar, Kalambakkam Village, Perambakkam Post, Tiruttani Post, Thiruvallur District, comprised in Survey No.184/51, admeasuring to an extent of 1089 square feet, was settled in the name of the petitioner by his mother vide registered settlement deed bearing Document No.2245/2013 dated 11.6.2013. The petitioner claims to be in absolute possession and enjoyment of the said property and has also been issued with a patta.
3.According to the petitioner, he has also submitted an application praying for allotment of a house under "Green House Scheme" and the third respondent vide proceedings dated 8.10.2013, informed the petitioner that since the allotment for the year 20132014 has been exhausted, the application submitted by the petitioner, would be considered for the next year i.e., 2014-2015; but, however, no progress has taken so far and the petitioner, in this regard, has submitted a representation dated 15.10.2014, and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.
4.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents. 5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2014, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
