This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to settle the petitioner terminal benefits viz., Encashment of Earned Leave within the stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the request made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
