Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other Writ, order or Direction in the nature of a Writ, calling for records on the file of the First respondent herein (1).Ref.No.SFI/17774/2015, dated 29.08.2015 and (2).

Na.Ka.No.SFI/16202/2015 dated 16.12.2015 and quash the same and to direct the respondents herein to consider the genuine claim of the petitioners for enabling the sale of entirely uprooted Karuval (Babul) and Seemai Karuvel (prosopis) firewood in the auction of the same for the years 2015-16 upon proper fixation of minimum Market price, taking all the ground realities into consideration, in the light of the representations dated 26.10.2015 and 22.12.2015 made by the Registered Tamil Nadu Forest Contractors Association and the Petitioners herein and to pass appropriate orders thereon, for reduction of Minimum 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Market Price and to conduct the sale of Seemai Karuval trees along with uprooted roots, well prior to conduct of the auction of the sale of Karuval (Babul) and Seemai Karuvel (Prosopis) firewood for the year 2015-16.

ORDER

The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submits that auction, which is the subject matter challenged in this writ petition, has already been completed and the auction has also been awarded to the third party as early as in the year 2016 itself and the same has also been intimated to the petitioners. This submission is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioners. Recording the submission of the learned Govt. Advocate for the respondents, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
