Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents herein to act on their letter dated 26.02.2022 vide Lr. Na. Ka. G1/12745/2021 and letter dated 29.09.2022 vide Na.Ka. No. A1/814/KO-1/20191 by allotting residences to the 970 affected families without any consideration and also act on the representation dated 01.08.2024 and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, thus rendering justice. This writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "directing the Respondents herein to act on their letter dated 26.02.2022 vide Lr. Na. Ka. G1/12745/2021 and letter dated 29.09.2022 vide Na.Ka. No. A1/814/KO-1/20191 by allotting residences to the 970 affected families without any consideration and also act on the representation dated 01.08.2024 and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, thus rendering justice."

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submitted that premises would be allotted to the 970 affected families at Thiruvottiyur and Kathivakkam at Ernavur after scrutinising the applications and depending upon their capability to remit the allotment charges.

3. The learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that they are ready and willing to accept the allotment of premises at Thiruvottiyur and Kathivakkam, at Ernavur. 3/6

4. Recording the above submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The allotment shall be made within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
