O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the husband of the detenue Hemamalini for a direction to the respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. When the matter was called on 02.12.2015, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today. Today (15.12.2015) also, when the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

matter was called, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that his wife Hemamalini aged 30 years was living with her mother along with his children at Kancheepuram, as there was some matrimonial discord. When the petitioner went to the see his wife at Kancheepuram on 25.3.2015, the neighbours informed him that they had vacated the house. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the first respondent police and since no action has been taken, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

4. It is seen that this Court, by order dated 23.3.2015, referred the matter to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre for an amicable settlement between the parties. The Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre has sent a failure report before this Court.

5. It is seen that in the affidavit filed by the petitioner, it is stated that the wife of the petitioner was living with her mother. We find from the facts that there is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and his wife and that there is no illegal detention. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
