02.12.2015, 17.12.2015 and to issue suitable direction to the 3rd respondent to grant Quarrying permission to the petitioner for a period of 6 months to quarry sand in Survey No.242 of Srinivasanallur Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District over an extent of 10 Hectares out of 24 Hectares, wherein Environmental Clearance had been obtained by the Respondent. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner submitted several representations to the respondents in the year 2015 seeking permission to quarry operation for a period of six months and now due to efflux of time, the prayer sought for herein having become infructuous. In view of the above, this writ petition may be closed.

2. Recording the fair submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 11.11.2025 Index : Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order vsi2 2/3
