ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1) (aaa) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.206 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the 1st petitioner is the supervisor of TASMAC No.3886, Kangeyam and the other petitioners are salesman in the said shop. The 1st the 2nd accused in the crime number have purchased the liquor bottles form the petitioners shop and sold the same during the election day. Hence, the complaint was registered.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that there are totally six accused persons and the petitioners are the supervisor and salesmen in the TASMAC https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

shop. He further submitted that 717 liquor bottles are stolen from the TASMAC shop and sold the same to general public during election time. Hence, the learned Government Advocate vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also in view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
