JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SURESH KUMAR,J.) Since the issue raised in all these writ appeals is one and the same, with the consent of learned counsel appearing for the parties, these writ appeals are heard together and are disposed of by this common order.
2. These writ appeals are arising out of various orders passed by the Writ Court on the similar issue giving directions to the Sports Development Authority of the Tamil Nadu State to consider the request of the respective writ petitioners with regard to the appointment, as against Page No.2/5
which these appeals were filed except the writ appeal in W.A.No.2593 of 2018, which was filed by the State Government.
3. However, today when these writ appeals are taken up for final hearing, Mr.S.Santhosh Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Sports Development Authority, on instructions would submit that during the pendency of these appeals, as per the direction of the writ Court, the representation given by the respective writ petitioners, who are the contesting respondents in these appeals having been considered, orders were passed, of-course not accepting the plea.
4. Since the orders have been passed nothing to be persuaded further in these writ appeals and the very same stand is taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the appellant in W.A.No.2593 of 2018 also because against the impugned order in that writ appeal, already an appeal has been filed by the Sports Development Authority in W.A.No.2019 of 2018.
5. However, learned counsel appearing for the contesting respondent would submit that, since the Sports Development Authority Page No.3/5
passed a negative order, liberty may be given to these contesting respondents to agitate the issue by challenging the said order in the manner known to law.
6. We have recorded the said submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and in view of the same, as the orders have been passed as per the directions issued by the learned Judge in the impugned orders respectively in these writ appeals, nothing to be pursuaded further in these writ appeals. Therefore, recording the aforesaid submissions, all these writ appeals are dismissed as infructuous with a liberty to the contesting respondents to agitate the issue in the manner known to law. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
