PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2019, as per the provisions at the Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood Regulation) Act 2014, made for granting permission/certificate of vending and till such time not to disturb with the running of the petitioner's bunk shop at SGS Shaba, Backside Compound, Paul Appasamy Street, T. Nagar, Chennai - 600 017 wherein selling Tea, Coffee, Juice, Cool drinks and chat and food Tiffin items by using LPG Gas Stove.

The petitioner has filed the Writ Petition praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and

pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2019, as per the provisions at the Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood Regulation) Act 2014, made for granting permission/certificate of vending and till such time not to disturb with the running of the petitioner's bunk shop at SGS Shaba, Backside Compound, Paul Appasamy Street, T. Nagar, Chennai - 600 017 wherein selling Tea, Coffee, Juice, Cool drinks and chat and food Tiffin items by using LPG Gas Stove. 2.By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made the representation on 19.03.2019 and approaching this Court by way of this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4.The learned Senior counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has rushed to this Court immediately without waiting for the further process, even the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2019 has not received by the office of the respondent. Therefore, the writ petition is not maintainable.

5.Recording the objection of the learned counsel for the respondent, this Court is not inclined to give direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2019, within the time frame. Taking note of the said facts of the case, the respondents' committee is directed to consider the petitioner's representation as expeditiously as possible.
