ORDER

The petitioner had earlier lodged a complaint before the second respondent in Crime No.422 of 2020 dated 04.10.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 427 of IPC against the third respondent for which CSR.No.259 of 2020 was assigned. Subsequently, she had lodged another complaint dated 29.11.2020 against the third respondent and CSR.No.301 of 2020 was assigned by the Inspector of Police, Attur Rural Police Station, Attur, Salem District.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen aged 68 years. The apprehension of the petitioner is that the third respondent, an Advocate is attempting to enter into her property. The third respondent is continuously harassing and threatening the petitioner, despite the registration of First Information Report in Crime No.422 of 2020, which apparently is due to the inaction of the second respondent police.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that the complaint of the petitioner can be disposed of within a stipulated time.

4. Considering the submissions and on perusal of materials, it is seen that the third respondent, an Advocate is continuously indulging in similar activities from 04.10.2020. Hence, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Attur, Salem District is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner, aged 68 years and issue necessary instructions within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No coercive action to be taken against the offender.

5. With the above directions, this petition is disposed of.
