ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner has filed this contempt petition on the premise that the order of this Court dated 23.01.2017 passed in W.P. No. 1631 of 2017 with respect to the passing of the order by the respondent has not been complied with.

2. Though the learned Assistant Solicitor General produced a copy of the proceedings, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no need for such a proceeding as the respondent can very well pass the order based on the available material.

3. The learned Assistant Solicitor General submitted that particulars have been sought for from the State Government and in the absence of those particulars forthcoming, no final order could be passed.

4. Inasmuch as the petitioner warrants the order at the hands of the respondent, without going into the merits of the case, we direct the respondent to pass appropriate final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order based on the available material.

5. In such view of the matter, the contempt petition stands closed.
