O R D E R

The revision petitioner herein is the defendant in O.S. No.42 of 2017 and seeks speedy disposal of the suit. The allegation is that the trial of the suit has been completed and it is pending final arguments for the last about three years.

2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner also submitted that there is a connected suit, which is being jointly tried and this court, gathered information through the Registry by which, this court is informed that in the connected suit, certain applications have been filed by the other side and they are pending consideration.

3. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submitted that going by the estatus of the case, there is no reference to pendency of any application and it simply shows that the case is coming up for arguments.

4. This court, now directs that the e-status must give the correct information and the court must have a tab on the staff, who is responsible for the same. Turning to the core aspect, if there are any applications to be disposed of and any application pending in the connected suit, which required to be disposed of, the trial court must address it at the very earliest and cannot keep it pending infinitely. Once that process is complete, the trial court is required to expedite the disposal of the suit, as early as possible, at any rate, not later than October, 2022.

5. The revision petition is accordingly allowed. However, there is no order as to costs.
