ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.11976 of 2016, by order dated 31.03.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.10.2015 and to pass an appropriate order, with regard to issuance of patta, within a period of eight weeks, after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ parties, if any.

2.Now, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 31.03.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that on the representation made by the petitioner, the respondent has passed an order on 11.07.2017 rejecting the claim of the petitioner. He has also produced a copy of the order dated 11.07.2017 passed by the respondent. Thus, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in the present contempt petition. Hence, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if he so desires.
