This petition is filed to delete the petitioner / 2 nd respondent namely the

Secretary to Government, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (A) Department, Secretariat, Chennai 600 009 from the cause title of the above writ petition.

2. Heard Mr.P.Ananda Kumar, learned Government Advocate for the petitioner and Ms. Usha Raman, learned counsel for the 1 st respondent.

3. In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it is stated that the 3 rd respondent is the competent authority to consider the request of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner /2nd respondent is not a necessary party to this writ petition.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the petition is ordered as prayed for. Post the writ petition on 09.12.2025.
