PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to directing the 1st respondent, the Commissioner of Police, Tirupur and the 2nd respondent, the Inspector of Police,Veerapandi Police Station, Tirupur District, to take immediate steps to expel the illegal trespassers based on the complaints dated 15.12.2017 and 16.12.2017.

For the purpose of evicting the occupants in the subject properties of the petitioner, the complaints were made to the second respondent on 15.12.2017 on 16.12.2017 seeking for protection. Since the complaints have not been considered till date, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. It is needless to point out that whenever an complaint is made seeking for protection, the second respondent is duty bound to consider the same in one way or the other, instead of keeping it pending indefinitely.
3. In view of the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's complaints 15.12.2017 on 16.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, after giving due opportunity to any of the persons who may be interested in the subject matter. As such an exercises shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
