ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent to settle the surrender of leave salary for 75 days for

the year from 2007 to 2011.

2. Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

3. The respondent may examine the service register of the petitioner and also examine whether there is arrears in leave surrender. If there is arrears, the respondents shall pay the same together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of disbursement. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
