O R D E R

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st respondent and Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 2 to 4. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2017 and direct the 4th respondent to furnish the information of Competent Authority to pay the ground rent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2017, the 4th respondent has not considered the same and passed any order so far.

4.Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 submitted that the 4th respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
