ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to regularise the petitioners' service with effect from the date of initial appointment with all monetary and service benefits by considering the petitioners' representation dated 24.02.2020.

2. Heard Mr.Venkatesh, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. The petitioners were appointed as Block Co-ordinators on 28.10.2009 and 21.11.2017 respectively with the second respondent. According to the petitioners, as per Government Orders in G.O.Ms.No.22 dated 28.02.2006 and G.O.Ms.No.74 dated 27.06.2013, their services need to be regularised as they have put long years of service. In this regard, the petitioners sent a representation on 24.02.2020 to the respondents. But so far, no order has been passed in the representation submitted by the petitioners. Therefore, the petitioners are before this Page No.2 of 4

Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioners will be considered within a time as may be stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed and the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 24.02.2020 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
