(Order of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner is the wife of the detenu/K.Ravishankar, son of Kumarasamy, now confined at Central Prison, Trichy. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to transfer the detenu from the Central Prison, Trichy to the Central Prison, Vellore. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that earlier the convict was kept and confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and thereafter, due to administrative reasons, the detenu was transferred to Central Prison Trichy. As per the administrative instructions invoked, a further transfer will be considered after a period of one year. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submission, we direct the respondents to consider the case of the detenu viz., K.Ravishankar for transferring him from Central Prison, Trichy to Central Prison, Vellore after completion of one year, since it is stated that he has been left with only four months for calculating one year period. This habeas corpus petition is closed accordingly.
