Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation 05.01.2026 and consequently directing the respondents to survey the property and update the Sketch/FMB in respect of Survey No.406/3A, 1A and 1B (Part) Okkiyam Thoraipakkam Village within a stipulated time.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to survey and sub-divide the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. Since the petitioners' representation dated 05.01.2026 for the aforesaid purpose was not considered by the respondents, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners also submits that since the property has not been sub-divided, the petitioners could not submit an application through online with the respondents. The said statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners is recorded.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioners' representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom the respondents 2 and 4 deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents 2 and 4 to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' representation, dated 05.01.2026 seeking survey and sub-division of the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, and for updation of sketch/FMB for the Page No.3 of 7
very same property, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioners and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom the respondents 2 and 4 deem it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
