By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Sri Pudur Mariamman Koil, situated at Ambekdar Nagar, Kodappatti, Horur Taluk, Dharmapuri District and he submitted a representation/application dated 29.05.2015 to the 2nd respondent, seeking permission to conduct song, dance and other cultural programs on 10.06.2015, in connection with the temple festival and since, he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted to conduct the song and dance programme, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders.
4. This Court heard the submissions of Mr.Roofas Abraham, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.
5. Taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the application/representation, this Court, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application/representation dated 29.05.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible and not later than 08.06.2015 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner forthwith.
