.. Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.4.2015.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of M/s.Jayalakshmi Transports, Namakkal District and he entered into an agreement with Tamilnadu State Marketing Corporation Limited (TASMAC) for transporting the products sold by them. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though, he had transported the products to various outlets run by TASMAC, the bills submitted by him have not been settled and in this regard, he submitted a representation dated 23.04.2015 to the respondents and since, he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.D.Balachandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Muthuraj, learned Standing counsel, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 23.04.2015, submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
