ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this court dated 30.06.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.4049 of 2022.

When the case was taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the direction of this Court dated 14.07.2023, the petitioner lodged a fresh complaint dated 26.07.2023 to the respondent police and immediately a case was registered in Greater Chennai Police, J-3, Guindy Police Station in Crime No.516/2023 under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC on 27.07.2023. Further, Tmt.D.R.Femila Shirley, Inspector of Police, CCB, Greater Chennai Police is nominated as Special Investigation Officer by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu vide letter No.5215514/860/Crime1(1)/2023 dated 31.07.2023 to conduct a fresh investigation.

3. Such view of the matter, this contempt petition stands closed. The Investigation Officer shall probe the matter in detail and file a final report as per law expeditiously. No costs.
