ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard on admission.

2. The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 5 and 6 to take appropriate legal action against the 7th respondent for illegal/unauthorised construction of a building comprised in S.No.119/1C5, 119/1B, 120/3B2 situated at Pandian Nagar, P.N.Road, Tiruppur, Tiruppur District.

3. Learned counsel for respondents 4 to 6 submitted that a notice dated 2.2.2026 has been issued to the 7th respondent by the Assistant Commissioner, Tiruppur Corporation to stop construction work and also called upon the 7th respondent to submit the approved plan, if any.

4. Recording the statement made by learned counsel for respondents 4 to 6 that the respondent Corporation initiated proceedings against the 7th respondent, the writ petition is closed allowing the respondent Corporation to pass a reasoned and speaking order and take necessary steps in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
