Mr.I.C.vasudevan, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent and by consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. Heard both sides.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 14.11.2017 to grant license to the petitioner to run new local Cable TV operation for intending customers at Chennimalai Panchayat wards No.1 to 15 and also 18 wards from getting network service from the respondent within the limits of Chennimalai Panchayat Union within the time fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.11.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any.
