2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that this petitioner had earlier given a complaint against one Periyasamy, in connection with which, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.91 of 2014 under Sections 454, 457, 380 I.P.C against the said Periyasamy. While so, on the complaint given by Periyasamy, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.268 of 2015 under Sections 294 (b) and 506(i) IPC. everyday before the respondent police at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Crime No.268 of 2015 has been alleged by Periyasamy as a counter blast for the case in Crime No.91 of 2014 and that, the police are pressurising the petitioner to withdraw crime No.91 of 2014. Since the petitioner is an accused for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) IPC, to serve the interest of justice, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Avinachi, every day at 10.30a.m. for a period of four weeks and also to appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation after summons.

In view of the above, the criminal original petition is closed.
