ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the 5th respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property in No.119, L.B.Road, Tiruvanmiyoor, Chennai. Since the building is in a dilapidated condition, he got a permission for demolition in Chennai Corporation. However, Electricity Board authorities are not taking action to disconnect the service connection in that premises in collusion with the tenants therein. Hence, he made a complaint before the respondents 1 to 3 . But no action has been taken so far. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel Standing Counsel, appearing for the Electricity Board, on instructions, submitted that pending writ petition, Electricity Board disconnected the service connection.

4. Considering the said submission and also the fact that already electricity service connection has been disconnected, this writ petition is dismissed as no further adjudication is required. No costs.
