Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents herein to produce the body of the petitoner's brother's daughter Senthamil Selvi D/o. Late Govindharaj, aged about 17 years, who is now illegally detained by respondents 3 to 5, before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty. For Petitioner ::

(Order of the Court was made by M.M. SUNDRESH,J.) The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents herein to produce the body of the petitioner's brother's daughter Senthamil Selvi D/o. Late Govindharaj, aged about 17 years, who is now illegally detained by respondents 3 to 5, before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty.

When the matter is taken up, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the detenue has been secured and she will be produced before the Child Welfare Committee, Cuddalore.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Court, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
