By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claims that she is a resident of Jambadai Village, Sankaraapuram Taluk, Villupuram District, for quite some time and she belongs to Scheduled Caste Community and is eking out her livelihood as an agricultural labourer. According to the petitioner, though nearly 200 families belonging to Adi Dravida Community, are residing in the village, only 58 persons were issued with patta in the year 2000, and most of them left the place due to marriage and avocation and therefore, she prayed for deletion of their names and grant of fresh patta to the beneficiaries, in the form of representation dated 20.4.2015, to the respondent, and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.This Court, without going into the merits of the respondent, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.4.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
