This petition is filed by the petitioner / appellant / claimant seeking to condone the delay of 2219 days in filing the above Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite serving notice and names printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of the respondents.

3. Therefore, having regard to the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition and being satisfied with the same, the delay of 2219 days in filing the above Appeal is condoned, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner / appellant shall pay a sum of Rs.1,000/-, as cost, to the "Tamil Nadu Legal Services Authority, Chennai" on or before 20.09.2019.

(ii) The petitioner / appellant / claimant is not entitled to any interest for the default period, in the event of succeeding in the Appeal.

4. This petition is ordered accordingly.
