ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 21.08.2020 in 1/4

Crl.OP.No.2018 of 2020, thereby directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Cr.No.1401 of 2018 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as directed by this Court, initially the case was registered in Cr.No.1401 of 2018 for the offences under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. After completion of investigation, altered the offence into Section 306 r/w 34 of IPC as against the four accused persons and final report is ready for approval from the prosecution.

Considering the above submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to file final report in Cr.No.1401 of 2018 before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this contempt petition is disposed of. SD/- ASSISTANT REGISTRAR(COMM.CASES) lok //Certified to be true copy// Dated at Madras this the day of 2021.
