ORDER
This writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the first and second respondents to implement the recommendation of the third respondent made in his order dated 18.08.2023, No. 30775/E1/2022, to appoint a Special Officer to take over the affairs of the fourth respondent society.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that after conducting a detailed inquiry, the third respondent, by the aforementioned order dated 18.08.2023, recommended the appointment of a Special Officer to manage the affairs of the society, namely, Padi Manoor Pettai Vyabarigal Sangam.

When the matter came up for admission, Mr.R.Sasikumar, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, relying upon the written instructions given to him in this regard, submitted that it was a communication gap that the order was not brought to the notice of the second respondent's attention. He further submitted that the second respondent 2/5
had called for the proposal and he would forward it to the first respondent, the competent authority under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, for the appointment of the special officer in this regard.
4. The same is recorded. The said exercise shall be carried out within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order by the second respondent. After receipt of the report from the second respondent, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within eight weeks thereafter.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 20.03.2025 nsl 3/5
