Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 01.12.2010 by the petitioner.

O R D E R

The writ petition is filed for the limited prayer, seeking to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 01.12.2010 made by the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.K.Nizamuddin, learned counsel for Mr.N.A.Nissar Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Navaneetham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent.

3. The learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that if the said application made by the petitioner is still pending before the District Collector, the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law.

4. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner made an application on 01.12.2010, is still https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending wherein the petitioner requested to redetermine the compensation under Section 28A of Land Acquisition Act. The said application has not been disposed of.

5. Therefore, in the interest of justice, the respondent viz., the District Collector is directed to dispose the said application dated 01.12.2010, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits in accordance with law. The petitioner is also directed to furnish one more copy of the application along with a copy of this order.

6. With the above observation the Writ petition is disposed of.
