ORDER

The petitioner. who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 302(2) of BNS, 21(1) of Mines and Minerals Development & Regulation Act, 9(B)(1)(b) of Indian Explosives Act, 1884, 5 of Explosive Substances Act, 1908, in Crime No. 118 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the de-facto complainant is the Village Administrative Officer of Senguram Village. He lodged a complaint before the respondent police stating that the petitioner and others supplied of explosives substances used for illegal mining of granite stones and quarrying was carried out in the patta land of one Thiagarajan by using 125 kilo grams of RDX explosives. The petitioner, who was running Amman Explosives Stores, is alleged to have supplied explosives to the petitioner herein who in turn supplied them to the other accused for stone blasting. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this is 4th anticipatory bail petition. Earlier, this Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petitions filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP.Nos.25245& 30437 of 2025 and 1749 of 2026 by orders dated 17.09.2025, 18.11.2025 and 28.01.2026 respectively.

It is seen that the last anticipatory bail was dismissed on 28.01.2026 in Crl.O.P.No.1749 of 2026 on the ground that there was a huge quantity of RDX-125 explosives involved and the very allegations are serious in nature. It was alleged that 125 kgs of RDX explosives were used in Thiyagarajan's patta land for mining granite stones.

5. The very use of RDX itself demonstrates how serious the offence is. Therefore, this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case to enlarge the

petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
